What’s New At Disneyland – Fall 2019 Update
Hey Disney Moms!
It’s been a while since I’ve done an update on what’s happening at Disneyland…A lot of construction to report, but the good news is that it doesn’t take away from any of the magic that you can experience within the park! So, What’s New at Disneyland in Fall 2019?
Disneyland’s New Pedestrian Bridge
First and foremost, Disneyland has recently opened the new pedestrian bridge over Magic Way, and it is AMAZING. It is in other words, a very convenient way to get to and from the park.
Most importantly, I should also note that it is the ONLY way that you can gain access to the theme parks, so make sure you use it!
Disneyland Stroller Rules
The park has made a change as of October 7, 2019 to how strollers are handled. They are passing these notecards out to guests as they exit the parking structure.
The notecard states –
Beginning October 7, strollers must be folded prior to boarding the Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals Tram.
As a reminder, strollers are required to be folded on all other Disney transport.
For your convenience, a walkway to Disney Parks and Downtown Disney District is located on Level 2 Coco of the Pixar Pals parking structure.
As a reminder, wagons and strollers are not permitted in our parks.
Fastpass Test in Tomorrowland
Disneyland just introduced a new Fastpass system for Star Tours, Astroblaster and Space Mountain…. and if this test with electronic Fastpasses works well within the Tomorrowland attractions, there are talks that they may expand the system to the rest of the park as well.
Hopefully, paper fastpasses will soon be thing of the past…
Disneyland’s Trolley System
Next update is progress on the Trolley system.
It looks like the tracks have been set, so it’s only a matter of time before this new mode of transportation becomes a reality around the park.
Upcoming Ride Construction
Above all, Disneyland has a lot of new lands and rides in the works. Most notably, the Guardians of the Galaxy area and within Toon Town.
A lot of progress on the Avenger’s Area as well.
Really cool scrim compliments of Stark Industries 😉
